The Erz Toy Museum Karuizawa is a museum specializing in the collection and exhibition of traditional wooden craft toys from the Erz region of Germany and educational toys mainly from Europe. The museum was established in April 1998 as a sister museum of the Erzgebirgisches Spielzeugmuseum Seiffen in the village of Seiffen, Saxony, Germany. The German people's pride in their traditional culture and the sensitivity and skill of their masters are similar to the folk culture of Japan.
