毎年10月第2土曜日と日曜日に、岡山県倉敷市児島琴浦地区の鴻八幡宮（こうはちまんぐう）で行われる例大祭の動画を投稿しています。
だんじり18台と千歳楽1基が、傾斜16度・長さ80メートルの参道を、約200〜400人の氏子たちによって威勢よく曳き上げられます。
この祭りは「岡山三大だんじり祭り」の一つに数えられ、江戸時代後期から約200年の歴史を誇ります。
岡山県重要無形民俗文化財に指定されている祭りばやし「しゃぎり」の勇壮な音色を、ぜひご堪能ください。

I post videos of the annual festival held every second Saturday and Sunday of October at Kou Hachimangu Shrine in the Kotoura area of Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.
In this spectacular event, 18 “Danjiri” floats and one “Senzairaku” drum float are vigorously pulled up a steep 16-degree, 80-meter-long slope by 200 to 400 local parishioners.
Recognized as one of Okayama’s Three Grand Danjiri Festivals, this celebration boasts a history of over 200 years, dating back to the late Edo period.
