Lecture Title: Exploring Health Risks Through Alternative Data

In recent years, the use of alternative data has become increasingly common in economic research and analysis, including studies that explore health risks from a socioeconomic perspective. The term “alternative data” refers to information collected and accumulated alongside advancements in digital technologies.
In this presentation, I will introduce a study that utilizes emergency ambulance transport records—one example of alternative data—to examine how the receipt of pensions impacts health, and through what mechanisms such effects might arise.
