名古屋大須在住の与作です。名古屋市昭和区福江にある「福の家」さんに行ってきました。ここは暖簾分けなどにより県内に数店舗展開していた老舗麺類食堂の最後の一店。うどん・そば・きしめん・中華の定番麺類の他、丼物・定食・ビールに合うおつまみなどメニュー豊富な大衆食堂です。

最寄り駅の名古屋市営地下鉄・名城線「東別院駅」から徒歩約14分。店舗北西に数台分の駐車場があり、店舗前にある「タイムズ福江1丁目」を利用した場合は券を1枚もらえるそうです。老舗ならではの硬い雰囲気はなく、店員皆さん気さくで親切な方ばかりなので一人初入店でもくつろいで食事を楽しめますよ。

I'm Yosaku who lives in Osu, Nagoya. I went to “Fuku-no-ya” in Fukue, Showa Ward, Nagoya City. This is the last remaining branch of a long-established noodle restaurant chain that once had multiple locations throughout Aichi Prefecture. It's a popular eatery with a diverse menu featuring classic noodle dishes like udon, soba, kishimen, and Chinese-style noodles, as well as rice bowls, set meals, and snacks that pair well with beer.

It's about a 14-minute walk from the nearest station, Higashi-Betsuin Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Meijo Line. There's parking for a few cars northwest of the shop. If you use the coin-operated parking lot in front of the shop, you can apparently get one complimentary parking ticket. There's none of the stiff atmosphere you might expect from an old-established place. All the staff are friendly and kind, so even if you're dining alone for the first time, you can relax and enjoy your meal.
